Au Pair Cluster Meetings
One Au Pair USA feature is the local cluster meetings for au pairs held each month. Cluster meetings bring together all of the au pairs in a local cluster to meet with each other and with their local coordinator.
While monthly meetings are required as part of the program, they are also a great way to meet new friends and do new and exciting things!
Cluster meetings might include:
- Meetings at the local coordinator's home
- Gathering at a coffee shop or restaurant
- "Pot luck" dinners
- Movie nights
- Sleep-overs
- Bowling
- Skiing
- Attending a sporting event
- Camping
- Going to an amusement park
The list goes on and on! Every meeting will be an opportunity to experience something new and to talk with people who are going through the same experience as you. You will have a built-in support system with your new cluster of au pair friends and your local coordinator!
Feel free to take pictures at your meetings and send them to us, and your pictures may be featured on our site like the one above!
"I can't stop telling everybody how great this program is. It gave me the opportunity to find a good job, which is very hard to do in our country. And I have to tell my special thanks to the local coordinator who did everything, even more than possible, for we feel as comfortable and happy. I had a beautiful experience in all meaning." --Au Pair from Yerevan, Armenia |
