Au Pair USA has a very active cluster of au pairs and host families in Southern California and the Orange County area. Each month, Au Pair USA Local Coordinators work with host families, helping them with the matching process and answering their questions about the program. They also arrange monthly meetings and social events for au pairs to help them build friendships and adjust to life in the United States.

About Sabrina:

Hello, and welcome to the Orange County cluster of InterExchange Au Pair USA!

My name is Sabrina, and I was raised in Berlin, Germany and I am first generation American. I love learning about other cultures and languages and that is why I became a coordinator for Au Pair USA. I have been an exchange student several times in Germany, and really enjoyed being immersed in the German Culture. I have also backpacked around Europe for an entire summer, which was the most wonderful experience ever!

I have a full time job as a 1st grade teacher in Brea, CA. I love working with children and have always been in the education field. I have been married to my husband Robert (who is Irish, German and Mexican) since 1996! We have 2 beautiful young children named Mckenna and Tanner. My family is very outgoing and active. We love spending our time off together, either at the lake on our boat or traveling to new places. I am very outgoing and love meeting people wherever I go.

I'm eager to make your year in the United States the best it can be. As a local coordinator, each month I organize meetings for the au pairs in the area to make friends and socialize with other au pairs, and help them find classes and other educational and cultural opportunities in the area. I also coordinate fun host family days to introduce families to eachother. I am available to answer your questions, give you advice, and help you enjoy your experience in the United States.
