About Gena:
Hello! I have been a Local Coordinator for the metropolitan area of Atlanta, Georgia since early 1997. I enjoyed hosting au pairs from 1992 to 1998. Our family welcomed au pairs from Belgium, Iceland, Germany, France, and Australia into our home and our hearts. It was a wonderful experience. I continue to enjoy working with so many interesting young people... and I’m excited to add you to the list of my international friends! I have a Doctorate in Business Education, a Master’s Degree in Economics, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. I have enjoyed several careers- corporate economist and college professor- but this job has been the best one yet! I love it! My husband is an Economics professor at the University of Georgia (one hour north). We have two children, a boy (Kam), born in 1990, and a girl (Caroline), born in 1993. Our children have learned so much from interacting with people from so many other countries and cultures! I'm really looking forward to meeting you!
Best wishes,
Gena
