Charlotte, NC Au Pair Cluster Activities
includes Charlotte, Lake Norman, Mooresville, Kannapolis, Statesville and Salisbury areas.

Each month, our Au Pair USA Local Coordinators arrange meetings and social events for au pairs.
Recent events included:

 

Bowling

The au pairs always love this event. Most of them have never bowled before, but they're eager to try something new, and end up laughing and cheering each other on.

 

 

Museum Visit
We visited the Museum of the New South, in downtown Charlotte. It was really fascinating to see how different the area was in the past; mostly farms and mills. We learned all about the "Queen City", and got to spend some time getting to know each other as well.

 

 

Movie Night
Time to break out the popcorn and the junk food. It's movie night. We all gathered at my house for the movie "The Nanny Diaries". We certainly had a lot of laughs!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Coffee Meetup
Pretty much everbody in the cluster enjoys going to Starbucks, so we will sometimes hold our meetings there! We discuss what other cluster activities the group would like to try at future meetings, and just chat over a sandwich or a dessert.
