Portland, OR
Au Pair USA has a very active cluster of au pairs and host families in the Portland, Oregon area. Each month, Au Pair USA Local Coordinators work with host families, helping them with the matching process and answering their questions about the program. They also arrange monthly meetings and social events for au pairs to help them build friendships and adjust to life in the United States.

About Kristi:
Greetings! I am pleased to represent Au Pair USA as the Local Coordinator for the greater Portland and Southwest Washington area. I look forward to getting to know you!
Before I tell you a little about our area, I would like to give you the opportunity to get to know me. I was born and raised in a small farming community in Eastern Washington State. After finishing high school, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Human Development from Washington State University (located in Pullman, Washington). My core areas of study included Child Development and Early Childhood Education.
Upon graduation, I began a career working with young children and families, including several positions as a professional nanny. I am truly passionate about working with families and children in all capacities. I live with my husband, Adam, and son, Liam, in Vancouver, Washington (located about 10 miles from Portland, Oregon). My hobbies include traveling, cooking and paper crafts.
I began working as a Local Coordinator for InterExchange Au Pair USA in 2004, and I am truly excited about sharing this new adventure with you. Feel free to contact me any time.
Best wishes,
Kristi
