How to Enter?
Required Submissions
- Host Family Nomination Essay: Write a short essay (300–800 words) about your au pair’s impact.
- Photos: Submit 4–6 high-quality photos (at least one with the whole family).
Optional Extras: Short, candid video clips (no production required).

The contest opens Thursday, October 16, 2025, and all submissions must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, December 12, 2025. Please see the contest rules, terms, and conditions.
Contest Rules
Overview: The contest allows Host Families to nominate their Au Pairs by submitting a nomination essay with accompanying photographs. It aims to promote experiences in the InterExchange Au Pair USA Program. Participation in the contest is optional and not a requirement of the Au Pair USA Program.
Eligibility: Open to current participants of the Au Pair Program. Not eligible: InterExchange employees, their families, and those living in their households. Au Pairs can be disqualified for rule violations or fraudulent behavior.
Contest Period: From Thursday, October 16, 2025, to Friday, December 12, 2025, at 11:59 PM (before midnight) EST.
Entry Process: Host Families nominate Au Pairs by submitting an essay of 300–800 words, in English, accompanied by no fewer than four (4) high-resolution, high-quality images. Short video clips may be included, but are not required.
Winner Selection: Judged by InterExchange based on submitted videos. The winner will be notified via email and any other available channels.
Prizes:
One (1) Grand Prize:
- Au Pair participant receives a $1,000 travel voucher.
- Host Family receives $1,000 credit towards future program fees.
Two (2) Runner-Up Prizes:
- Au Pair participant receives a $500 travel voucher.
- Host Family receives $500 credit towards future program fees.
Prizes are non-transferable and must be claimed by January 31, 2026.
Rights and Permissions: Participants grant InterExchange rights to use entry materials for promotional purposes. Personal information will be handled as per InterExchange’s Privacy Policy.

Legal and Arbitration: Disputes governed by New York law are to be resolved through arbitration in New York.
